The Young Audience program was initiated six years ago within the framework of the Cinelatino Toulouse Festival. It was created in order to sensitize new audience from the youngest age and to develop future new audiences. The Young Audience Program also includes a wish for image education and discovery of Art House and quality films.
Cinélatino, Rencontres de Toulouse exists for 25 years. It became the main festival of Latin American films in Europe with 200 titles screened each year. The festival organizes as well a profesionnal platform that gathers three meetings : Cinéma en Construction, Cinéma en Développement, and Cinémalab. Since 2011, it coordinates a european network of distirbutors and exhibitors : EDEN.

Transilvania Film is an ambitious cinema, video and TV distribution company. We aim to offer one title per month to all movie lovers, with a special view towards the arthouse, upscale segment. We focus on acquisition of new and original titles from across the world, with a special emphasis on European, Latin American and Romanian cinema.
In 2012, Transilvania Film released a total number of 12 titles in cinemas across Romania, 4 of them local productions or co-productions. The first premiere of the year was La vida de los peces by Matías Bize. The 12 releases are represented by movies from Romania, Great Britain, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Argentina, France, Chile and The United States of America.

Fiorella Moretti joined Mantarraya Producciones in 2005, she has collaborated in the development and production of “Stellet Licht” and “Post Tenebras Lux” by Carlos Reygadas; “La influencia” by Pedro Aguilera; “Los Bastardos” and “Heli” by Amat Escalante, among other films. In 2007, she created with Jaime Romandía and Carlos Reygadas the Mexican distribution company ND Mantarraya, which became one of the most important art house distributors in Mexico.
In 2012, they created the international sales label NDM. In 2012, Mantarraya (Jaime Romandía’s production company) and Nodream Cinema (Carlos Reygadas’s production company) join forces to create the international sales company NDM. The catalog starts with Post Tenebras Lux, Carlos Reygadas film that won the Best Director Award in the Cannes Film Festival.

Jonathon Perchal is responsible for acquisitions and head of legal & business Affairs for Artificial Eye/Curzon Fllm World.
Artificial Eye is a theatrical distributor of independent and non-English language films in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It also has a chain of cinemas, Curzon, and a video on demand platform, Curzon on Demand. Through its affiliate, Curzon Film Rights, film financing is now undertaken.

 

Lucie GIRRE

In 2009, after having worked at the Marché du Film-Festival de Cannes for 3 years, Lucie Girre joined the French Association of Art House Cinemas (AFCAE) where she was in charge of the communication and the promotion of independent films with the French art-house cinema network.
Since January 2013, she is the Coordinator of the Tide Experiment, one of the three projects selected by the European Commission after its call for proposals: Preparatory action ‘Circulation of films in the digital era’.

 

Marketa HODOUSKOVA

After working for several French-Czech productions (Sirena Film, Okko Production, Stilking et Etamp films), Marketa Hodouskova worked as consultant for the audiovisual department at the French Embassy based in Prague as well as for various festivals : Festival de film Français, l’Atelier d’écriture de scénario in Central Europe with the Sundance Institute, European Film Fest and Animation Film Festival, Anifest.
Settled in France since 2002, Marketa joined Europa Cinemas ‘association to work on Central and Western European countries. Between 2011-2013, she was managing director at the CICAE – The International (HE) Art Cinema Network.
She is actually head of programming of the festival « A l’Est du nouveau ». First competitive festival dedicated to Central and Western European cinema, « A l’Est du Nouveau » takes place in Rouen, France and is affiliated with the festival « A l’Este de Lima », Peru.

Raymond Walravens is the managing director / curator of World Cinema Amsterdam.
The international film festival World Cinema Amsterdam and Rialto cinema have a strong focus on independent world cinema. Each year World Cinema Amsterdam has a competition and open air section for young and talented filmmakers for feature films from Africa, Asia and Latin America. Each year there is also a country in focus section, in 2012 it was Brazil!
